Wooden cups or Kuksas carved from a single block of green wood. Used for drinking cold liquids and alcohol including neat spirits. These cups take many hours of carving with hand tools and careful drying, finished by soaking in hot raw beeswax to fully waterproof them. These cups are not suitable for hot liquids.
These cups are not sanded, but finished with a razor sharp knife using small fine knife cuts. This gives a finely textured surface pleasing to the eye and hand

Apple wood Kuksa
A smallish but perfectly formed drinking cup made from apple wood which grew on Dartmoor. The handle is unique to Woodwright Designs and the cup can be held in a variety of ways.
