To create a good, high resolution photograph of a single tree, especially from close quarters, a panoramic camera is needed, or special software to help merge 5 - 7 images together.These completed images are long and narrow, and when printed at 30cm by 100cm and hung at head height, give a realistic sense of the true scale of these huge organisms. Printed larger and hung, they give rise to the real physical action of having to look up at the tree.
