On this workshop you will learn how to sharpen edge tools.

You will learn about edge geometry, tempering, grinding, honing and stropping.
If you do not have your own knife, you can purchase a quality Mora knife for a special price of £6.

Practise on most of the commercially available bench stones and various powered tools. You will also be advised about what tools and abrasives to buy and where to get them from. You will also make you own strop and silicon carbide slips to take away.

Bring your own tools to be sharpened. Even if there is not enough time to sharpen them you will be advised on the best way to do so.
