A bench made from 3 inch timber for the legs and 1 1/2 inch for the seat and back. Made from oak for £750. It can also be made from other types of wood if you are happy to treat it regularly or if you keep it under cover.

My more-traditional style benches are very reasonably priced for hand-crafted items. As with the curved benches, these have been very popular as memorial benches in private gardens as well as in cemetaries, and National Trust property.
